Endemol Shine Group wins Global Finance award
Global Finance, a leading magazine for corporate financial professionals, has announced its awards for the World’s Best Treasury & Cash Management Banks and Providers 2018. Zanders client Endemol Shine Group has been awarded the ‘Best Treasury Management Systems Program’.
As part of its treasury transformation process, Endemol Shine implemented a new treasury management system (TMS) and SWIFT Service Bureau, in under four months. The media company selected Zanders’ new Treasury Continuity Service to drive the transformation.
Optimizing global liquidity
Given the organizational structure, banking landscape and underutilization of its TMS, the central treasury team at Endemol Shine lacked complete control and visibility over the company’s cash and risks. The common goal of the treasury transformation was to optimize global liquidity to help the company continue its growth and investment initiatives.
Endemol Shine decided to select Zanders’ Treasury Continuity Service, because it offered a solution for several needs in one subscription-based service: a future proof, easy to implement TMS, access to expert knowledge to make the right decisions, as well as capacity to implement the changes now and safeguard continuity of the treasury processes going forward. The TMS is provided by FIS, a global leader in financial services technology.
At the same time Endemol Shine decided to set up new bank connectivity to receive the bank statements for and access liquidity through the TMS in an efficient way. And also to be able to potentially expand the functionality with payments at a later stage. It made sense to also select FIS as provider of the SWIFT Service Bureau solution. The strong cooperation between the three parties, Endemol Shine, FIS and Zanders, made the combined implementation of the Treasury Continuity Service, including the TMS implementation, and of the SWIFT Service Bureau, a powerful solution from the outset.
