We cordially invite you to our round table on Stress Testing on September 28, 2017, (08:00 – 12:00) in the Zanders office. Our Stress Testing event offers you a valuable platform to learn about best practices and discuss challenges in today’s stress testing environment, focusing on small and mid-sized banks.
Jaap Karelse, partner at Zanders, will host the round table. Based on the outcomes of the survey and Zanders’ experience, Jaap will facilitate an interactive discussion about stress testing best practices and practical stress testing issues.
Bram Kauer, Senior Analyst Strategic Risk at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., will share his experience in modelling and implementing stress testing frameworks. He will address current challenges and issues that large banks are facing in combining strict regulatory requirements with internal bankspecific objectives.
Lex Hoogduin, founder of GloComNet and Chairman of LCH Clearnet, will address the topic from a different perspective. He will explain how a narrative-based approach to stress testing adds value in managing complexity and uncertainty. Furthermore, he will elaborate on how scenario analysis can shape your alertness and resilience, as well as your adaptive and creative capacities.
We are looking forward to spending an enjoyable and insightful morning with you at this event.
