To reinforce our team in Bussum, the Netherlands, we are looking for a
Consultant (3-7 years experience)
Roles and responsibilities
- Depending on your level of experience and skills, the responsibilities range from – all in the area of Treasury, Asset and/or Risk Management – :
- Setting up business cases including cost/benefit analyses with respect to future organization and process design
- Mapping the client’s requirements to system support in feasibility studies and gap analyses
- Supporting the client in system selection processes
- Project management tasks like monitoring project plans and status, providing guidance and drive to the project team
- Configuring and modelling the system, using standard configuration features of systems (without custom-made programming responsibility, only setting up a functional design in case custom-made programming is needed)
- Performing system testing and supporting user acceptance testing and conversion
- Providing training to the client in future processes and system support
- Ensuring continuous support and improvements at clients
- Being involved in sales and marketing activities, like providing presentations and maintaining client relationships.
- Pro-actively share knowledge and be involved in new product development
Your background
The candidate we are looking for has a proven interest in financial markets. A professional with a serious ability to perform. Definite requirements are:
- A completed academic education, preferably with a financial and/or quantitative nature like economics, econometrics or maths
- 3 to 7 years relevant work experience
- Strong analytical abilities
- Pragmatic and solution oriented
- Excellent communicative skills
- Excellent command of the English language, in speech as well as in writing
